Peanut Processing Plant
Technical Specification
Industrial groundnut processing plant starts with raw groundnut receiving and feeding, followed by pre-cleaning to remove dust, leaves, sticks and coarse impurities. The material then passes through a magnetic separator and destoner to remove metal particles, stones and other heavy impurities. The cleaned groundnuts are graded according to size and feed to the decorticator, where the outer shells are removed. The mixture is then passed through aspiration and separation systems to separate kernels, husk and unshelled groundnuts.
The kernels undergo gravity separation and optical sorting to remove immature, damaged, discolored and defective kernels. Finally, the kernels are cleaned, graded, weighed and packed according to the required specification and stored in a clean, dry area for dispatch.
