About the Besan Plant

Besan Plant is a food processing plant that converts appropriate gram or chickpea into finely processed besan. The raw gram is processed under regulated conditions to produce a consistent flour that may be utilized in a variety of traditional and modern food products.

Tulsi Agro's approach focuses on providing a consistent source of processed besan while also supporting agricultural value addition and food product manufacture.Besan is a flour derived mostly from gram/chickpeas, often known as gram flour or chickpea flour.

It is a staple of Indian cuisine, appearing in snacks, desserts, curries, batters, and a variety of other dishes.

Tulsi Agro identifies Rajasthan as the proposed location for the Besan Plant, with the following locations considered:

Ajmer, Alwar, Banswara, Baran, Barmer, Bharatpur
